WEEK TWO CLASS

As I have not yet done the reading i will comment on this weeks class


I believe the key messages from this weeks reading were assignment information. I found going through the assignments with the group helpful as any questions or queries others had were probably common to everyone else. The information for the assignment that can be found on blackboard is detailed and useful. The blackboard site also contains information on journal databases which will be useful for the annotated bibliography assignment.

The lecture review was useful as it helped refresh and expand upon the points discussed last week such as the history of Public relations and how marketing, advertising and publics overlap. Public relations however is more concerned with image and community relations rather than the financial


The class made me think more about Public Relations in practice in that they directed my attention to the type of career areas available for public relations professionals. I am interested in the publists and event management side of PR.
